konon katanya, masjid ini telah berdiri sejak jaman penjajahan Belanda. selayaknya lah kalau sampe saat ini bangunan masjid sudah mengalami renovasi berulang kali, tinggal beberapa bagian dari masjid yang masih menggunakan bahan aslinya
di tambah lagi dengan imbas dari tingginya air rob yang kian tahun semakin tinggi hingga hampir semua bangunan masjid harus di renovasi
di dalam masjid ini terdapat makam waliyyullah

di halaman masjid juga ada Madrasah Diniyyah
