★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenience praying place, with hotspots. Sometimes, it held few big occasions which public can join and serve. Historical place with priceless value. Its safety also rather good with their newly installed cctv. This mosque also can be used for a short rest from a long trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ lt's a great place for experiencing the atmosphere of Islamic-Javanese culture in one place. The architecture of the mosque is really authentic and mesmerized. I went to this place for Fajr Prayer and it was really calming my soul down. The people are very kind and welcome to the tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This mosque is very unique. It is nothing like any other mosques I have ever visited. This is a perfect example of islamic building which is heavily influenced by Javanese architecture. It gives off serene atmosphere just to sit and relax for a while after praying. A really simple yet beautiful structure.

Despite having smallest than 3 other principal royal mosques in Java (Masjid Gedhe Kauman, Masjid Ageng Surakarta, and Masjid Al-Wustho Mangkunegaran), but I could give 'most fancy' awards to this compound.
Combination between good lighting, wall and column colouring, hygiene and clean environment, and also high participation from the congegations make this mosque 'have a soul', 'charming', and 'warm', welcoming people to stay and doing pray here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The great mosque of pura pakualaman is small, neat, and clean. It's look cute from outside on the other hand it's also look antique. It does not look like ordinary mosque with dome on the top of building, but more like old javanese style, wooden wall with narrow ceiling.
