★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Try to call the number to have a takeaway. On my first call, there is a lady answering. I said I want to order a takeaway, then will pick it up to the store immediately. The lady said, "ok.. Wait a minute for the order a takeaway ya". Then, she drops my call. And when i call back no one picks up. Calling the number for 7 times already, no one picks up... OMG.. Never have such a rude attitude from a restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Of all Magal restaurants that I have tried, I prefer Magal at PIK the most.
However. Please be ware that Magal @PIK is not Halal.
The place is very clean and the foos is fresh. Staff here is polite too. I like the corn tea that they serve for free and the side dishes are very nice. You can request for more if you want, of course for free too.
Rarely I leave this place with a half-full stomach.
If you have not been here, give it a try and you will not regret it.
Oh yeah, please note that finding parking space is a challenge but don't worry they have a valet service...... of course for free too. I usually give tips to the valet guy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New and nice place for korean bbq food. We were here on saturday nite and have to queue for 15minutes. The service was nice and the food was almost perfect. They have the waiters grill your order so you can sit back and relax while waiting for it to be served. Average spending should be about IDR 250k per person I just wish the price were not that expensive though LOL. Please note that they also serve pork.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely a must try !!! One of the new outstanding place in the already packed row of restaurants, thought it was the expansion of the old Magal restaurant in the other block, but turns out it's not.
This restaurant is the officially franchised restaurant recognized by Didim, the parent company of Magal (or Shin Mapogalmaegi as they know it in South Korea). We can find the certificate posted inside.
Uniquely situated next door to the already established competitor, I was curious to try even though we have to wait for a while during the packed Saturday nite.
I tried their popular selections which is Mapo Galmaegi (also the name of the restaurant) which is marinated pork skirt meat which taste sweet, while the meat are tender and juicy. They also have the spicy version called Maecom Galmaegi.
For the beef, I ordered Kkotsal Jumulleok (marinated boneless short rib) which I found delicious and also the beef tounge which tastes well above average.
Their Japchae has the alluring aromatic taste, a bit exceptional than the others. I also love their Galbi Yukgaejang (spicy beef back rib soup) and Doenjajjigae (soybean paste stew).
On the side, I tried Jumeokbap (rice ball) which I found interesting since we can make it ourselves (if we want to) and taste good.
Service was quite efficient and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. I would say more value than most Korean establishments in town.
Overall, we have quite a feast and would definitely love to come back and crave for some more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the original korean BBQ restaurant in Jakarta that tastes absolutely delicious. With the fresh ingredients, good quality, perfectly cut and the variety of the menu, especially the balance between flavor and the price, this place deserves to become one of the best korean barbecue place in town.
A well decorated and clean restaurant with plenty seatings in both 1st and 2nd floor, which make this place is suitable for family with young kids and friends gathering in a big group. Not to worry about the facilities such parking area, toilet, wifi, because they are all available. In terms of friendliness, product knowledge, and the effieciency, the service was amazing.
There was a table service here, and once the burning charcoal is ready, the assistant will help us grill the dish. Note to self, make sure not to forget to order the grilled garlic, as well as the sesame dip for the best combo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price is higher than other magal prolly because of the location, the meat portion is small and the small dishes is not as much as other branch .. but the meat quality is pretty good and if you only order 1 meat, you cant cook by yourself
