β β β β β Good Indian restaurant in the heart of Jakarta. Good veg and non-veg options. Just walkable distance from Thamrin mall and Grand Indonesia. Must visitable place whole at Indonesia.. very reasonable price.

β β β β β Everything I've eaten from this place has been delicious. I had ordered for delivery from here for years before finally going to the restaurant.
To get there, go up to the mezzanine of the Thamrin Residences by taking the stairs or escalator near the atm center at the entrance. It's got nice outdoor seating, perfect for a group of friends to grab some beers and feast on some Indian delights. The service is attentive without being too involved. Good food, good value, good service.

β β β β β While everybody seems to be crazy about fusion food, I'm consistent with my classical taste bud of Indian Cuisine.
Amongst Indian Cuisine, the taste that offered by this restaurant is beyond; almost legendary!
I ordered four menu that turns out to be Fabulous! Masala Kulcha, Mutton Vindaloo, Hyderabadi Dum Chicken Biryani, and Paani Puri.
Their Masala Kulcha is very soft, light, gooey, and buttery. Their Mutton Vindaloo is rich but light. The mutton is so tender, and when you combine it together (dip your masala kulcha into the vindaloo), there would be joyful explosion in your heart caused by the kulcha and vindaloo in your mouth).
Their Hyderabadi Dum Chicken Biryani is splendid: moist, and comforting. The chicken is tender and juicy as well. It makes the whole biryani taste wonderful and delish. They have another plus point from the Raita (Indian yoghurt with cucumber, onion, and cilantro condiment). The raita taste was freshly made by order, light and balancing the richness herbs in biryani rice. In fact, the raita invigorating the "festive" sensation in my mouth.
The last one is paani puri. I love paani puri so much, especially the meethi chutney and pudina pani. I may finished the pudina pani even I have no paani puri left. Tough I'm so much in love with paani puri, I should tell the ugly truth and be very objective, shouldn't I?
The paani puri from this restaurant is not as delish as other menu. The filling is flavorless, like some herbs missing from it, and Im sure it's not the salt. Fortunately, the Pudina Pani and the meethi chutney are covering the flavorless filling of it. Im not satisfied with the paani puri, sorry.
Actually, after four menu that I ordered, I thought I supposed to order all menu that they provided. My heart will be very happy and contented for sure.
So, if you're ready to be spoiled by their moist and buttery naan, or ready to be amazed by their vindaloo, you may come and enjoy the tasty festive by Little India's restaurant. Your heart will sparks with bundles of Joy, and beautiful flame in your heart by their cuisines, like I did.
Thank You.

β β β β β The restaurant is not too clean, so not a very first impression for me. They have a range of options for both vegetarian and non vegetarian Indian foods which I personally appreciate.
Me and my friends order chicken kebuli rice, chicken biryani rice, butter curry, and garic naan. The portion of both biryani and kebuli rice is relatively big, so if you are not looking a huge portion if food, I suggest you share it with some friends.
The taste of the food are okay, but not delicious. I have to say that itβs quite hard to find a good Indian restaurant in Jakarta and Little India add to the list of decent Indian restaurant. And for what I get, the price is very expensive. I may not come here again for this experience.

β β β β β Regarding the food? I like it. I am feeling grateful finally I found Fish Tikka and Chicken Malai Tikka which both are my favorite. Thank you!
I like the hot Gulab Jamun. It took me back to the cold night in Manali where I had my best hot Gulab Jamun on the street.
Too bad, the Hydrabad Dum Biryani I ordered was not served in claypot with the pastry cover it (as far as I know this is the way how it suppose to be served).
Regarding the restaurant, for some odd reason, the AC inside was not cool so I spotted a mosquito flying inside. And the couch on the corner near the wall easily made me fall if I sit on the edge. Consider replace it for safety.
Will I come again? Yes. And I hope things will be improved in the future.

β β β β β Nice outdoor sitting. Good space for hang out. Beer is available. Food is less expensive than major indian restaurant intown. Recomended!
Second time. No photo
I went there again on 2022. Food is getting better and also the place is nicer. No desserts available tho. Maybe due to covid not much traffic going on
