★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lokasi lapangan tembak ini berada di Jalan Bejiruyung sisi sebelah kanan Desa Pekuncen Kecamatan Sempor Kabupaten Kebumen yang luasnya kurang lebih 3 hiktar sebelah utara ada sekep lalu pegunungan milik negara yang dikelola oleh kesatuan angkatan darat brigif 7 Diponegoro atau Secata Gombong disebelah selatan ada bangunan Gedung yang difungsikan sebagai tempat pertemuan para pelatih juga tempat istirahat setiap ada prajurit tamtama yang sedang latian fisik juga uji kemampuan menembak disini, pada hari2 tertentu jika ada calon prajurid tamtama yang sedang mengikuti pendidikan Secata di lapangan ini, didalam penggeblengan diadakan setiap hari siang maupun malam 24 jam penuh dari hari Minggu ke hari Minggu berikutnya.. selama ada lapangan digunakan untuk latian, pemuda di sekitar dilarang menggunakan atau memakai untuk latian olah raga, seperti main sepak bola..
Disetiap sudut latpangan diberi sefty plakat tanda bahaya serta bendera merah dan dilengkapi dengan bunyi sirine apabila dentuman bom maupun senjata laras panjang sedang berlangsung.. Ada uniknya sedikit terutama anak2 yang tempat tinggal dekat lapangan dapat cari duit dengan cara menawarkan jasa untuk menjual rumput bagi para pelajar Secata yang digunakan untuk menyamar diri, semua anggota badanya diselimuti dengan rumput, dan ada juga yang mencasi sendiri.. tidak cuma itu sering juga untuk latian simulalasi daerah banjir rawan tanah longsor yang dipandu oleh kesatuan dari ABRI KEPOLISIAN, TIM SAR, RUMAH SAKIT JUGA PARA RELAWAN juga masarakat sebagai pelaku yang ibaratnya terkena musibah dalam sosialisasi itu.. juga difungsikan untuk upacara hari kemerdekaan setiap 17 Agustus
