★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of many coffee cafes in the region. Located on the north side of Museum Mini Hartaku.
The place is cozy with the main building with stone wall that has some tables and is open air.
At the right side is the cashier, kitchen & toilet, separated from the main building. At the back side of the property is a small praying room and some small patios.
Parking lot is quite enough for several cars but no special place for motorbikes (you'll still get wet during the rain)
You can go to the cashier to order first then choose your table since it is faster than sit and wait for them (they appear to have limited number of waiters).
The coffee, ginger tea and other hot drinks are very good. Unfortunately, the snacks are all plain :( They need to marinate them first not just do it as made from scratch by order. It took a while also to get your snacks, since they start from scraps. They're luckily very affordable.
Tips:
Order the hot drinks, they're good. Drink them fast enough since the taste will definitely change when they get warmer and cooler.
Don't order the snack. It takes too long to arrive, super plain and will taste worst if it's not hot.
If possible, during the day, choose to sit on the outdoor tables since they're brighter and have better air flow. The stone building is very dim lit & stuffy. The indoor sitting is more suitable for night time hang outs.

So cozy because it is located in the foot of Merapi Mountain, the elegance and peace of nature would help you relax and forget the city noises. This café is not to pricey but for suggestion they need to add more variation of their menus there.
