★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place's been redesigned. Nice new design, btw. More space, lighter, brighter; I like it. This is one of my favourite places to buy imported books. Kinokuniya has wide range of selections, good variation in genres, even has books in some other languages (like Japanese). It's located at a very strategic place, so it's easy to find.
My one and only complaint (but a huge let down for me) is: this is the ONE store that has the tendency to stick their price tags directly on the book covers (as oppose to just stick them to the flimsy plastic covering the books). Those tags are hard to remove (they're torn easily, or tear the book covers, no in between), yet such an eyesore they're impossible to ignore.

The place is also convenience and we like to go & hang out there.
Please don't close the shop

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place sells books that are not available on other bookstores - such as Japanese magazines and artwork books. The price is reasonable for foreign books. They also sell Indonesian books here but I guess you wouldn't even look at them regarding all the magnificent foreign books. This place also sells those cardboard and wood crafts to decorate your own reading place at home. Sadly this branch doesn't sell books about demonology as much as the branch at Plaza Senayan. Overall, this is a great bookstore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While I was at the West Mall, Grand Indonesia, I purposely came here to see the books in foreign languages, especially those in English. This is one of the best places that sells a large selection of imported books, Marvel action figures, manga, etc. The prices are rather upscale, except those on discounts which become more affordable.
