Having lunch with my family and want some Indonesian food we order :
1. Sosis Sinyo Londo
2. Nasi Goreng Cakalang
3. Dendeng Balado
4. Ayam goreng laos
5. Gurame telor asin
6. Oseng Tauge garing
7. Nasi merah and nasi uduk
In my opinion food number 1, 2 and 5 taste ok. But the other lack of herbs and flavours. No punch line.
It is ok with foreigner but not indonesian or expatriate that live in Indonesia.
Compared to other famous or upscale Indonesian Restaurant in Jakarta, this resto should upgrade the menu and taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kembang Goela will always has a soft spot in me. This is one of my favorite date place with my husband and I’m so glad it never goes out of charm. The design and decor are still stunning. The food is always a stellar.
In around 2016, they changed its decoration from white colonial to black. Brings more classic ambience. Personally I liked the white better. However it just a matter of a taste.
The food, you should try Dendeng Balado and nasi goreng cakalang. Other than that, the mie godok is also good.
Last week, I ordered the “Tapeh Bruder” as a dessert. OMG, the taste is sooooo gewd.
All in all, this place can always be your choice if you want to have lunch/dinner for something fancy with your special one. Love love love the ambience, the quality of food and the service.
It can be your choice for wedding venue too. The decoration is already stunning. It can minimize ur wedding decoration budget. Trust me, it works ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good ambience for the restaurant decorations, but to me the food taste is just okay. Nothing special to remember.
The waiters are not nice. We had a company lunch event today, and used a private room. Several waiters and waitresses served us the foods, only 1 guy showed hospitality spirit. The rest were not nice. I will not recommend this resto to friends and families. Sorry

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great meal in a private room with all sorts of Indonesia's fantastic cuisine. Service was very good as was the food. The fact that the restaurant was quite empty may have helped but we had a great party.
We enjoyed the rendang, sate, and tahu telur along with several dishes I've never had or seen before, don't know the names and can't really describe them either, other than to say they were great.
The desserts were also great, representing old school Dutch era styles brought with modern quality standards.
Sadly I was too hungry to take pictures. I wish I had as the presentation was also quite nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indonesian authentic culinary restaurant, unfortunatelly due to implementation of PPKM we can't have dine in during the event on my last visit.
Very nice place with woods ambiance and Indonesian traditional furniture, you may have small gathering event like wedding other other occasions.
The home band can be an option for the entertainment.
The foods serve packed nicely with several menus package incl. local appetizer of asianan bogor, main dishes with dendeng balado, satay and mixed vegetable and some dessert of local cake and coconut ice, and all those are tasty !!!
Will come back when conditiin back to normal...
