★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of great active crater in Java, you can start trekking from different basecamp and area, Pasir Reungit in Bogor or Cimelati and Cidahu in Sukabumi. Very recommended for entry level hiker, but keep aware and follow safety procedure. Many beautiful spots on the track and in crater.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Active sulfur crater be careful when going here and beware of your step because the sulfur rock so slippery also fragile and easy crack. Here you can see the dead forest and big crater of mud mix with sulfur dont even mind to touch or your hand will be skeleton. You can take a bath in southside of this area water so clear even in muddy sulfur but yeah its hot and dont forget to get sun cream after that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best hiking destination i guess. After a long relaxing walk around two hours inside a forest, you will be greated with an open crater and smoke view. The sound came out from the crater together with a windy and cold weather create a mystical atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is magical! Only visited by a very few tourists and serve an amazing landscape from the waterfalls, rivers, geothermal activity and obviously the muddy trail. Took about 3 hours to hike from the main gate. It cost quite alot, you have to consider the ticket fee (incl. vehicle), parking fee, and entrance fee. In total can cost you up to 50k. Great place to have a getaway nearby Jakarta. On the other side, the place located very far from the main road, and no public transport. Be considerate of your vehicle cause the road condition isn’t really well maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ - The place is so beautiful with the white River and fog comes out from the ground
- Don't throw the garbage carelessly here. Bring them untill you comeback to the base camp
- You have to walk by foot and take 1 hours and more to get there and going through the forest but it's worth it. You'll be see the beautiful scenery around when you are on the way to the Crater.
- Be careful when you walk to get closer to the Crater, there's so many rocks and cliffs.
- Don't try to swim there because it makes your body feels itchy
- Don't worry to get lost because there's a Direction's Sign to make it easy and you'll be meet with the other Visitors which it's make it easy
