★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it is a cozy place in the heart of Jakarta. They offer authentic selections of Indonesian cuisine. The selection of spirits and cocktails are amazing. The sambel matah cocktail, it is mind-blowing beverage with local special flavour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Westernized Indonesian dishes. The steamed white rice was really fragrant & tasty, so did chicken cooked in turmeric. Fried Noodle was fine, the Soto was rather bland for Indonesian. The service is highly commendable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kaum's interior design that looks like a warehouse is quite unique. Its location which is close to office buildings, makes Kaum an ideal choice for entertaining clients. Moreover, its original Indonesian dishes are all delicious and palatable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Indonesian food with a very 'jadul' (old) vibes. However it's pretty pricey, I'd recommend the cafe across the building if you are short on cash. The toilet is a 10/10, the food is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of our most favourite place for #Indonesian food, usually for lunch. The food is consistently taste at it’s best, and fresh. The spices is not overpowering and chilli is not overly hot. But if you do prefer extra hot chilli, they can prepare it too. The one thing we most like is that they do care about it’s customers’ food allergies in which they have always asked if you have any allergies. Staff are very friendly and courteous. And foreigner friendly as a pocket of staff can speak English well. the ambiance is authentically pleasant and cozy. We usually make a reservation for a quieter corner.
At times, we do order #Kaum dishes through Whatsapp, it’s efficient, staff ate very helpful. And we are very happy to be receiving the food that is well and securely packed. And the best part is no plastic containers are used - very environmental friendly! - the food is packed properly in paper container (lined with banana leaves) and delivered in paper bags and with an outer one plastic bag for safety transporting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service, yummy foods, and fun beverages. I asked the staff to give me the most fun cocktails they have and he picked Kecombrang Martini and Millionaire Martini. Who would have guessed that emping, sambal kecombrang, and vodka are such perfect match? ? ? Not to forget to mention their luscious Ketan Kweni. I think everyone should try it. What a fun dining experience. Thank you, Kaum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here again for fast-breaking with my friends. It is amazingly fast-breaking friendly and the variety of food one can get for this occasion is impressive. We end up overloading on the tajils and having a bit of mains - best decision ever.
For the adventurous ones, the alcohol collection is there, and my favorite Sangria never disappoints.
Waiters are attentive and its not hard at all to get their attention.
