★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little disappointed by the menu, many dishes are take out from the menu. The portion minimize a bit, but the taste still good. Not crowded as maybe 5 years ago. When you craving for porridge still okay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came at last minute to close, kinda full house. Ordered simple chicken porridge and fried cakwe, took almost an hour to come. But the waitress n waiter is kind and good service, the problem is with kitchen staff. The place now is pandemic mode, plastic borders between tables. Taste of food quite strong tasty (or salty) and texture of porridge like gruel so well mashed, fried cakwe is crispy means good. Some condiments run out, i.e. chopped scallions, sesame oil etc. Overall is good place and food, maybe just come at wrong time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried one of the famous Chinese food restaurant at Mangga Besar area. The place was crowded but we managed to get a table.
We ordered:
1. Bubur Ikan Fillet (fillet fish congee)
The texture of the congee was nice, just as my liking, not too soft and not too thick. But actually we can choose the thickness of the congee. The congee came with fillet fish and katsuoboshi on top. It was quite nice.
2. Cakwe
The cakwe was yummy and cruchy. Like it!
3. Tim babi (steamed pork)
The steamed pork was topped with salted egg and it was delicious! I think it’s nice to combine with plain congee or rice.
4. Kuotie
For the kuotie, it wasn’t ready so we chose to wait for about 30mins to be made. The kuotie was filled with steamed pork and a few corn. It also came with a sauce, maybe black vinegar. It was good and we enjoyed it.
Overall it was a good place to come with family and eat chinese food. Note: the payment method is cash only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great late night eats as it's open 24 hours. I've eating there 3 times now while in Jakarta and has not been disappointed. Just remember it is cash only so bring your rupiah. This place is always busy which is a good sign.
The rice porridge is the stable but I've also have eating the Hainan chicken which is also excellent. The duck was a bit dry but that could be I got there at 10pm.
Service was good and the price was very reasonable. For 3 of use to eat was about 300 rupiah total. Definitely a good late night comfort food eat for Chinese food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of best spot serving for chinese style congee. Normally open 24 hours but closed at 9PM during COVID pandemic. They serve congee with many varieties of toppings and I recommend the pork and pitan egg (century egg) congee with steamed chicken and cakweh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good spot for chinese style porridge, they used to open 24 hours but closed at 9PM during COVID pandemic. They serve porridge (plain or with meat) and wide selections toppings. I do recommend the pork and century egg porridge, plus steamed chicken, cakwe (fried dough sticks) and soy sauce tofu.
