β β β β β JJ ramen moved their place to Gang kancil months ago. It would be better you use ojol to go there. The owner is friendly and helpful, I was lost to go to their place yet he could give me a direction through phone. Ordered a bowl of hiyashi chuka ramen, didn't expect that it would be a big bowl though. Not bad but not the best hiyashi chuka ramen I've ever had. Last but not least, I recommend you to go to this place for a new experience eating 'hidden gem' ramen hehe
p.s.: Would go back for sure to try other menu??

β β β β β Very pleasant experience with the owner/chef himself, creating a borderless relationship with customers. Located in narrow alley, better to commute with motorcycle. I tried JJ Ramen - the broth is very rich and thick; very generous beef slices. Worth every single penny β€οΈ

β β β β β Honestly I have high expectations for this ramen store, since it was recommended by one of the top culinary Youtubers of Indonesia. All in all I was quite disappointed, but maybe it's because of my personal preferences as well. Let me explain in details.
I ordered JJ ramen and my husband ordered Curry ramen. I personally prefer ramen with pork, but this one is halal. For this particular reason, I'm still okay. I do eat ramen with chicken. But turns out, it's using beef instead; my least favorite meat. To put the cherry on top, the texture of the meat is simply straight up chewy, and flavorless, so that really puts me down on the whole bowl. Noodles are a little soggy. The soup on my ramen is acceptable, but the curry is just... The only thing that is delicious in that bowl is the half-boiled egg because it is the most normal one out of all. Needless to say me and my husband can't finish it.
Store decoration is okay. Smoking is allowed. Drink only came after we are half through our bowl of ramen. The worst part of the experience would be finding a place to park, because we know that this is a very isolated store but we have absolutely no idea that it is literally located in an alley that only fits one motorcycle (with absolutely no chance to turn your bike around), and the parking area is outside of the alley itself.
Overall, I did not enjoy my culinary adventure here and I wouldn't recommend my friends to try this. But then again, it all comes down to personal preference! I heard some people really like it because of its "hidden gem" aspects.
TLDR: I don't like it.

β β β β β The taste is good, authentic soup. Plenty choice of it shoyu, miso, hot chili. They have 2 types of noodle which is ramen and udon. Just bear the queue and the process. They made the noodle by order, you can see the owner create the noodle. It's not a fancy place but the authenticity lifts up the place

β β β β β After around 2 hours waiting, we can have seat and still waited for 30 minutes to have our orders. Portion is big, even bigger than common portion. Taste was quite good and affordable prices.

β β β β β an authentic ramen southbound of the city. we have to walked through small alley to find this ramen monger which is make it worth to find, that's the plus value of the place. the ramen is so yummy, the broth is thick and well prepared seasoned. they made they own ramen as the chef is very skillful since he was worked at japanese and norway ships for over than 30 years as cook staffs. the place is not too large, moderately clean, no parking lot as I mentioned that this place is in the small alley. friendly staffs, serving time under 30 minutes since you placed your order. definitely will come again to enjoy their another menus.

β β β β β Long queue. Make sure you're not starving when you arrive. Average 2 hours queue on the weekend (sat-sun).
This place become most wanted ramen in secret place since Nex Carlos n Jerome Polin went n reviewed. Better use online taxi when you go there, very small gangway. There is parking lot for motorbikes di different area.
The food itself, no complain about it. Top!
