Isshin is one of my favorite sukiyaki restaurant, what I love the most from Isshin is their open kitchen concept, the cooks will cook your meals right in front of you directly after they receive your order (notes: if you want to look more closely, you can choose to sit in their bar area). Isshin basically serves 3 courses meal, which is start with appetizers of chawanmushi (Japanese style egg custard dish) and miso soup. Continued with your main dish which is sukiyaki don of your choices (US Prime Beef / Wagyu Beef / Salmon / Chicken, if I'm not mistaken, they have new menu of tamago don), and finished with dessert which is cute tiny little ice cream. For Isshin, I'm gonna rate them 3.75 out of 5! For more info about food, you can visit asmunchkin on IG.

This new Japanese restaurant from GF Culinary group (Song Fa, Putien, Marutama Ramen, Fish&Co & Ojju) serves single menu: Sukiyaki Don, with 4 choices of topping: Wagyu, Beef, Salmon & Chicken. Using the meal vouchers from Traveloka Eats, we tried the personal package set meal which includes sukiyaki don US Prime Beef, chawan mushi, soup, onsen egg & ocha. Here we can enjoy free appetizers: kimchi & sesame horenzo salad. The horenzo was fresh despite the bland taste; kimchi was too salty & somehow it tasted different from usual ones. The beef was tender & goes really well with the savoury brown sauce which is the key to this heartwarming bowl of rice. You can opt to dip the meat into the sauce or pour it to the rice, but it’s kinda salty better add it gradually as you eat. The japanese rice is also topped with shimeji mushroom, tofu, chinese cabbage & shirataki noodles. I’d recommend mixing the onsen egg into the rice while it’s hot so that it’d blend well. After the meal they serve us free ice cream but too bad it was not really frozen. The restaurant has a chic japanese ambience with minimalist wooden interior, creating such a warm & cozy dining experience although the space is quite small (it can only seat max. 20 people). The seating is separated into 2 areas: the counter table from where you can observe the cooking process & the individual tables across the counter which seat max 3 pax per table. Overall it was a delightful experience especially thanks to the hospitality of customer service here.

Isshin serve Japanese Sukiyaki & Tamago. The meat is tender and very juicy. If you dine in, they'll give you side dishes. The portions is quite big. Cold and hot ocha free refill. The waitress-waiter is very helpful and very friendly.

Hey #Tastebuddies! Bon(d) just had a late lunch/early dinner at Isshin in Central Park. This restaurant has cozy private booths and you also had the option to sit at the bar and enjoy the cooking process. We had their Salmon and Beef Sukiyaki Don. Each came in a complete set with chawan mushi and miso soup. We also had their kimchi and horenzo on the side. The Chawan Mushi was my favorite. It was tasty with fish roe and naruto. The Salmon Sukiyaki Don was also a treat! It came with an onsen egg and generous amount salmon. You can also request the doneness for the Beef Sukiyaki Don. The medium doneness was our favorite! It also came with a generous portion of beef. All in all, if you happen to wander around in Central Park Mall, Isshin is one of the place to get a decent meal. - Cheers! Located at ground floor inside Central Park mall. Small Japanese restaurant with simple menu. I think, only two options with a la carte or set menu. Price is on the higher side, but worth to visit and try. The restaurant has 3 small tables and one long table with 12 seats. So often you need to wait before get seats.

We enjoyed our dinner with their β€œtamago don”. We had the chicken and beef β€œtamago don”, not their specialty but very good, tasty and delicious. The dishes reminded us to β€œoyako don”. Our favorite egg dishes. 50% voucher discount for member, valid for next visit. Fast service too.

Wonderful dining experience. The table was quite small but the service was fast even-though its crowded, the food served within 10 minutes and the chef change every pan for every time he create the new one so it’s guaranteed hygiene and no excess from previous dish. We ordered beef tamago don and salmon set. The egg was properly cooked, the sauce also matched with the food. The appetizers was cute (kimchi and spinach) enough, and even the matcha come in high quality. Probably i am going to be their patron during office lunch break since they have 50% off during lunch time

I had Sukiyaki set (US Prime Beef) for lunch today (27 Dec 2021). It was tasty & flavorful. The extra β€œtopping” for my dining experience was the exceptional service by Isshin crews, the Chef and especially the Lady Server (apologize that I forgot to ask for her name). They were very friendly and professional. Wish the best for Isshin.
