β β β β β I miss Korean Food during COVID-19, and when I found Maru is open, I come to try. It is owned by a native Korean, so they sell a more traditional styled korean BBQ. They just recently renovate, so the ambience is still a bit messy, but overall still good vibe. Tastewise, The meat selection is good and offer much side dish to complete the meal. They offer refill for side dish, and that is a good thing. When we came, they ran out of Korean Soju. Parking lot is not a problem, as they have big parking lot and also space in building next to it.

β β β β β Favourite family restaurant since 10 years ago, started as Gojumong and changed their name to Hae Maru with even better Korean menu selections & awesome banchan (Korean side dishes)
Fave menu: gochujang samgyeopsal, marinated short rib, galbitang, bibimbap, salmon sashimi, yangnyeom genjang

The staff are friendly even i eat alone
Ajumma give me free stuff like that small crab /w mussle.
One of best place to find ganjang gejang (raw fermented crab)
And sahshimi set was great. But the mun-eo bland somehow.
But overrall it a great place

β β β β β Booked the private room upstairs for an event. Service was really good, food was very delicious and even my nephews (6yrs and younger) could eat and liked the food.
Their soy marinated crab was off tha hook, so was the Fish roe soup and samgyeopsal. The pork belly was beautifully cooked, charred but still VERY juicy.
Looking forward to coming here again when in town. Keep up the amazing work ?

β β β β β Just finished eating here literally a few minutes ago and still sitting here. The yangnyeom gejang is so so. The banchan is very limited with only few options. The only good banchan they have is the kimchi and steamed egg. I ordered pork belly and pork cheek and really regretted the decision. As you can see on the picture, the pork was REALLY DRY. Some of it is burned like charcoal. I complained to the waitress and only got "sorry". This will be my first and last experience eating here.
