It just happen i pass on panglima polim street, the big logo of this restaurant catch my eyes, and somehow..., I'm hungry....
So i went inside, a friendly welcome from the manager/owner and couple of waiters there really comforting. And then they offer me to sit upstairs. Is a cozy place.
I read the menu, its a mix choice of traditional indonesian and a bit western
I choose :
* Gurame Boen + Rice
They say is the favourite dish, its the most expensive dish on the menu, but damn!!! Its worth it. The fish is generously big, the soup is rich of flavour, honestly amazing and i suggest don't eat this alone, the portion is good for 2 person
*Tempe Mendoan
Traditional fritters of bean cake, serve with chilli soya sauce, its very generous in portion and very tasty
*Orange and lychee blend
Very refreshing, too bad the portion is small
*Es Shanghai
Dessert..., Generous portion, again dont eat it alone, share with somebody!!!! Huge portion alert!!!! This very tasty and sweet dessert really close my culinary adventure in this restaurant with a smile of satisfaction.
Thank you Boen kitchen team, definitely return here again, and hungry for more!!!
