Price fair, around IDR 15.000-30000. The taste is quite sweet, so if you don't like sweet, don't try this, because most of the food taste sweet even though it looks spicy. The place quite small. They sell chicken and part of it. Drink ready only tea and mineral water.

Gudeg is a traditional cuisine of Yogyakarta. It is made from unripe jack fruit which is cooked with brown sugar. I enjoy to have a breakfast here. I chose gudeg with its condiment such as brown egg and spicy buffalo skin process for eating.

Food is overpriced. Its on the sweet side. Its just popular. Other place have better food. They have a really bad costumer service. Staff are really arrogant. They didnt take the order properly, even if they serve it fast. So, Just because its popular, doesnt mean that its always good and have good service.

The Must try Original food of Yogyakarta !!! This place is one of the best and known place to eat Gudeg. With Varian of eggs or chickens that Cooked in traditional Javanese way. It has the sweet and a bit spicy taste. I love this food and miss it always. Eating in the restaurant with traditional ambience accompanied by live music like you're going back to old days. Only the parking was not large enough. The place look crowded with cars, while actually there were available sits. This place allowed the take away and they will wrap it nice and strong enough for far destination.

This gudeg is not too wet. Not too sweet either. Overall good ??? When I ordered this gudeg, it was also quick, not long. Directly served. Good service.

This brand is wellknown in the Gudeg City for its jackfruit cuisine. The place is affordable and spacious with options of either smoking or non smoking. It also enriched with sitting option of seat or lesehan ~ chairless sitting position by the floor. Good interior with combination of bricks and wooden that may harmony with your dining. A must try gudeg stall in the heart of Gudeg Sultanate.

I bet you will get a better taste at an affordable price of Javanese Food. Although yogya is known for sweet food, the food here overly sweet.

Gudeg is a traditional Javanese cuisine from Yogyakarta and Central Java, Indonesia. Gudeg is made from young unripe jack fruit stewed for several hours with palm sugar, and coconut milk. Additional spices include garlic, shallot, candlenut, coriander seed, lengalangal, bay leaves, and teak leaves, the latter giving a reddish-brown color to the dish. It is often described as "green jack fruit sweet stew". - Wikipedia And this is one of the oldest and most famous gudeg from Yogyakarta /Jogja. It is well known that Javanese food are mostly sweet, so I have expected this gudeg to be sweet as well, but I didn't expect it was THAT sweet. ? Hahahah. The sauce made a huge difference, so it is like their special recipe. Overall, the gudeg was nice and tender, the krecek was as expected. Only the sweetness was still a surprise to me. Maybe because I choose savoury more. It is a good experience, still.
