Don’t hesitate to try it even if you don’t like jackfruit. There’s no hint of jackfruit in it at all. My guide told me that Gudeg Yu Djum (next door) is a better place but it got sold out so I had to settle for this one.
They have an ‘English’ menu there so it’s not too bad. The prices are also on the menu.
The chicken is quite tough and the egg is very hard. I’m not sure if this is a thing yet or if it’s just this store. I also had the uwuh tea.
