Gudeg itself is Jogjakarta's traditional delicacy which consist of sweet and savory jackfruit vegetable, spicy cow skin stew know as krecek, bacem tempe, tofu, eggs, and chicken. The main flavour of the dish is sweet with a good amount of savory and spiciness. There are also other Gudeg spots in Jogja that has their own signature flavour but Yu Jum's signature flavour has been around for years. It is a well know restaurant so you can expect the price to be higher than street gudeg vendors but still relatively reasonable.
