★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A gudeg place located near the UGM (Universitas Gajah Mada), they serve dry gudeg (gudeg kering). The place itself is pretty spacious and comfortable. There are many variations of gudeg you can choose, my favourite is the egg and tofu gudeg. Parking space is available both for cars and motorcycles.
The gudeg is quite good, not too sweet which i like it more than the traditional very sweet gudeg. But it is lacking the umami flavour of other many great gudeg place. The egg is great, and the tofu is excellent too. Price is quite affordable, but not on the cheap side. Overall it is still a solid gudeg restaurant, worth to try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great taste, an authentic Yogya traditional food. Gudeg was made from young jackfruit, seasoning with many kinds of herbs. Taste was awesome, not the sweet and not too hot. Location was easy to access, near with Gajah Mada University. Price was fair enough, worth with the taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being one of the top go-to Gudeg on my chart for years..Gudeg Bu Hj Amad was my mother's as well as my wife's favorite.
The slight hint of sweetness is balanced by the subtle tingle of heat from their Krecek. And on dining hours..they have this love keroncong orchestra on-site
Lastly...I think as more UGM graduates had spread to far flunk places, hence their gudeg and krecek is now also available in canned styles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best gudeg restaurants in Jogja. The taste is more to the sweet version. Delicious. The service is excellent and now fast. We can dine in or take away. Besides the fresh gudeg, visitors can also buy canned gudeg and some other products. Restroom and musholla (small-sized masjid) are also provided.

IMO, this is the best gudeg in town.
been here every eid-holiday, every year, maybe it’s because my mother is a regular costumer since she’s in college until now, so maybe it’s our kind of habit ?
I always assure myself to eat this every year because in my memory, this one is the real taste of gudeg ?
the krecek is spicey yet balance with the sweetness of the gudeg paste!
now they had a portion of the gudeg packed in can, and they provide a frozen shipping too with Paxel ??
