Why I called it that way, because its open at 11.00pm. its almost midnight. And you better come here earlier to avoid the long que line.
I have a friend who recommend me this place, he said it’s a good place to eat a great gudeg around Jogja. Well for me, since im not a fan of to sweet gudeg, gudeg bromo bu tekluk are one of the good one, but I don’t agree to much with the price. :)
Gudeg is a traditional food from Jogja, contain from coconut milk mixed with Jackfuit, they cooked it with a ling time to make all the ingredients dry all along with the herbs. Taste sweet, and it should be eat together with krecek, it gives you a taste of spicy in your mouth. And it also can be eat together with opor ayam and egg with soysauce.
I was eat here together with my husband with a half portion, we spend 89K for two person. Meanwhile its not a fancy place to eat, I consider this as a street food too. And there are a lot of gudeg here in jogja that more way cheaper than this.
But, worth to try, you might like the taste after all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the gudeg is it was not overly sweet, and the Kuah areh topped on the nasi, taste sooo good. And they're very generous with the suiran ayam, and the keripik tempe was also delicious. The krecek, which was my favorite fromy every gudeg meal, was too hot and savory, I am used to sambal goreng krecek which tastes a little bit savory, with a hint of sweet, and less spicy taste
But definitely one of the best gudeg I've tasted.
I wish they could use numbering system for the queue, and could open the shop earlier, and not 11.30 pm like it was that night we came.
Usually it opens 11.00 pm, and queue starts at 10.30 pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious gudeg for those with savory palate. Long queue, but definitely worth the wait - the chicken is juicy and flavorful. The spicy level is alright (I have a pretty low spicy tolerance)
Though unfortunately, in this pandemic, almost all of the workers of this food parlor did not wear a mask. It would definitely put the buyers mind to be much more at ease.
-1 star due to this, I'd love to come here again, but I would think twice since the sellers didn't wear mask.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived at 11 pm and queuing for 50 minutes. It was my first trial and this gudeg successfully skyrocketed to the most delicious plate of gudeg rice I’ve ever tasted (been trying yu djum, mbah lindu, bu ahmad, pawon, sagan, and others).
So in love with the subtle hint of smokiness from their pulled chicken. The krecek itself is spicy and so tasty. The gudeg is sweet enough but not overpoweringly sweet. All combined together was bomb. Definitely craving for more but the queue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not your typical traditional gudeg. The gudeg might be easier to accept for non-jogjakartans since it's not sweet and has a very complex flavor.
Note that you might want to arrive in this place past 12.30 am in case u didn't want to get into queue
