★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goa Rong is a romantic view spot, family park and restaurant on a hill within the Tlogo coffee plantation, Tuntang, Semarang Regency, Central Java. It offers a nice view (including beautiful sunset) with Mt. Ungaran and Rawa Pening (a lake) as background. The name Goa Rong is associated with a cave located about 200 m walk further below the restaurant, but the cave is not popular because the path is steep and slippery. The restaurant offers tasty local coffee, and various hot dishes such as beef rib soup. A clean musholla (moslem prayer room) and toilets are available, but the water is rather cold. I and my wife liked the 3-D video game there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's silent and old heritage. If you walk to goa rong cave and hill, you can feel juragic park.
On hill restaurant, not so many menu. But, local food. T logo coffee is too dark, but not so strong. I never tasted these coffee.

Nice place for kids with some playgrounds.
Foods are simple & reasonable price.
Found some cages but no birds inside & condition is bad enough, need to be more attention on the cleanliness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yea about the way to the cave. . . Is like we need to go down like 100+ stairs and the cave ia so small lol then we need to fo up with 100+ staira again not recommended for old ppl XD

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a "humble" lookout along the Solo-Semarang toll road. We only pay for entrance and parking fee, then free to enjoy variety of photo spots. Additional fee if you want to use other facilities such as flying fox. The look out overlooking the famous Rawa Pening and Kabupaten Semarang.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To reach this new tourist spot, if you come from Semarang direction, turn left right after the Tuntang Bridge, go to Bringin-Salatiga Road, until you meet Goa Rong Resort & View sign on the right side of the road. At the beginning gate there is a resort, to go to the cave, follow the signs, need to be careful because the road continues uphill after the ticket counter, ticket price is still very affordable, there are children's games, restaurants, prayer rooms, while to go to the cave must go by walking down stairs and rather steep, the view from above is pretty good for photo spots, if it is on sunny weather would seen Rawapening, Mount Merbabu and Ungaran, the cave itself is not too deep, with large boulders, hopefully it can be managed much better, maybe by adding spot outbonds etc. to attract more tourist to visit this spot
