★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an amazing place for the view, but locals almost force you to donate on the last village in the path if you are foreigner tourist. No assurance that the money goes on the pathway. 2 years ago it was 5000 rupiah, now 20000... You are not obligated to donate ! Still, it's worth to climb down this pathway to see this amazing place.

Be aware, that the cave is at the bottom of the cliff 20-30 min of rock climbing up and down the stairs/rocks. There is a safety "rope" everywhere to hold onto.
Before you start climbing down, there a 15min walking path from a village, where a donation is required (as villagers built all those stairs and fixed the ropes).
If you want to get deeper into the cave, bring the headlights - super dark in there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I gave the local here 150rb to take me down, but he seemed lazy and disinterested in guiding me, often asking me to go by myself while he goes with other local tourists. Imagine paying a tour guide and he just wants to leave you..
Even after I pay so much they ask me to pay for water. So greedy, at the end not even invite for tea or coffee, only for themselves
If you are here just donate 10-30rb like the local tourists do and go yourself

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first experience of cliff climbing for me... and i feel sooooo amazed by the scenery.. not really recommend this place because soooo dangerous but omg, worth it to try... so we hired local guide which cost more or less $22.6 ... why is it important to hire local guide for the first trip? because the local guide can show you the exactly how to climb those 10 wooden ladders and the cliff... is it scary? yep! so you must be very careful and mind your feet+hands... better use backpack containing first aid and water, snacks.. wear a very comfortable and not slippery shoes, comfortable clothes... down there at the cave, you can find an old lady who can provide food for you... but I think it's better to bring your own food.. well, always be careful and enjoy the beautiful scenery...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. Go there with motobike. After arrival at the end of the road you have to pay 20.000 IDR. You find a way about 600 m through a wood and you reach the coast. Fantastic view. Here starts the climbing down for about 150hm with ladders and slippery steps. Be carefull. Best to wear sport shoes or no shoes. But its worth it. If you want to go deeper inside the cave don't forget a torch.
