★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A romantic place. There are attractively arranged tetrapods. Local people sell foods and offer mini playground for children. Make sure you bring your sun lotion if you go there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This beach is located just across the fence of Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) at Kulonprogo. The wave of Hindian Ocean is very strong and caused abrasion to near village. Airport authority & local government plan to plant Mangrove to protect it from further damage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little town close to Yogyakarta, worth a visit. Take a walk on the beach or make a boat trip in the bay. Lots of warungs and sea food. A brand new airport is under construction close to this place (2018/2019).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since this is south beach, you won't find banana boats or other water sport. But they have boat for short trip in their lagoon. The price is Rp 10.000 each person or Rp 100.000 per boat. They have a lot souvenir shops, restaurants, mini pool, and a lot of bathrooms. Enjoy!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is really close to the Yogyakarta International Airport, only about 10 minutes with car. The sand is black and soft, with strong waves. Recommended to visit if you want to see the sunset. No entry tickets, only parking ticket.
