Kata itu di ambil dari salah satu sumur tua di daerah tersebut yang mana pada waktu itu warga setempat hampir semua melakukan aktifitas cuci,mandi di sumur tersebut yang konon nya ada lubang sebesar lingkaran band sepedah motor yang mana lubang tersebut langsung berhubungan ke sungai ci ujung dan sumur tersebut sampai saat ini tak pernah surut atau kering walu kemarau yang air nya hangat dan selalu ada asap/uap dalam bahasa sunda di sebut KEBUL atau NGEBUL dan CI itu berarti air maka jadi lah nama kp tersebut CIBAHBUL
AIR YG BERUAP ATAU CAI NGEBUL yg letak nya tidak jauh dari ibu kota Kab.LEBAK hanya berjarak 3KM dari alun-alun RANGKASBITUNG itulah sejarah nya KP.CIBAHBUL
Cibahbul
The word was taken from one of the old wells in the area where at that time the local residents were almost all washing, bathing in the well which is said to have a hole the size of a motorcycle band circle where the hole is directly connected to the Ci Ujung river and the well until now has never receded or dried up even though the water was warm and there was always smoke/steam in the Sundanese language called KEBUL or NGEBUL and CI means water, so the name of the kp is CIBAHBUL
STEAMY WATER OR CAI NGEBUL which is located not far from the capital city of LEBAK Regency, only 3KM from RANGKASBITUNG alun-alun, that is the history of KP. CIBAHBUL
