★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this simple and cosy cafe. They serve mainly medan cuisine. Medan is located in north sumatera, one of Indonesia's big island.
Our favorite dish is misop and emie. Misop an authentic chicken soup with herbs, served with noodle or rice noodle and crackers. You can find this menu in mostly medan served cafe, but I think herr is the best. Emie is noddle served with thick prawn sauce and belinjo bitter nut crackers (emping).
They also have clam satay (sate kerang), fried tofu served with sweet sour sauce and vegetables, rujak, gado-gado, nasi uduk.
For dessert they have bubur cha cha (mix of yam and jelly in coconut milk soup), es campur (mix of jelly, nut n fruit top with shaved ice and coconut milk and brown sugar) and es sekoteng (mix of jellies with shaved ice).
Beverages are barley drink, markisa, kietna, tea and coffee.
The place is clean. Parking space is ok. The waitress are friendly.
