★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent botanical gardens (havikng been to numerous ones across the globe, its probably in the top 5). Use the open bus to get a overall view of the place (Rp 10,000 each), the gardens are too big to walk around, plus the crew on the bus were friendly and helpful. Then go and explore the bits you love. There are lots of interesting areas, you will not be disappointed.
Note: Don't trust TripAdvisors location, its several hundred metres out. We followed it and ended up in some stunning traditional Javanese farms and eventually followed a concrete path to the Gardens

If you have an interest in learning nature, plants, biology it is a good place. You can see many kinds of plants from herbal until exotic plants. It is better if you drive your own car. This place quite huge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to have picnics with family and hanging out with friends. Too bad I come in December when there's no more sakura. Coming in August will be great. Be careful if want to take pictures in roses area. After all it's a good experience walking there with family. Have a good time there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is very beautiful. It has lots of huge trees with their species names on it. A waterfall where you can take pictures and swim. A huge field of grass with beautiful view to enjoy suitable for picnics. There are many tracks for hiking and sightseeing with a car or you can ride a horse. The air is clean, very cool and refreshing. There are greenhouses, ponds, water fountain, etc. There are restrooms and stops to rest and park your car. I recommend going here with your family and friends to relax and have a fun time together.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During our visit, we found this place very satisfying. Even though the weather was cloudy, we could still enjoy the atmosphere and the fresh air. Despite the road to this place isn't easy to be gone through, I still recommend this place if you are looking for a photo session location, gathering, outdoor activities for kids, or even just for strolling around breathing for fresh air.
