★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is really a nice place to hangout and do the camping. It is really close to mount gede and pangrango national park. The green grass are everywhere and it can really soothe your mind. If you are lucky enough, you can enjoy the mist falls from the upper hill and it’s really cool and cold. you can really enjoy the place just by seeing the mount Pangrango. I highly recommend this camping ground.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The closest camping ground close with the gate for hiking to Mount Gede Pangrango in West Java Province from Jakarta area. You will be charge for contribution ticket Rp10k when entering the area, and then another Rp25k for car parking lot, we were camp for two nights and two days, i guess it doesnt matter how many days you spend there, it's still Rp25k for car. For motorcycle i dont know how much. There are two ways to enter the Mandalawangi camping ground, one from the main entrence the other from the office for hiking, just the left side of the parking lot. The steps from the main gate quite steep, so be careful there. You cam use trolly if you use the road from the office. There are also porters available, Rp50k per porter and they can hold quite a lot stuff.
In the area, you can find river, toilets, small lake, flying fox game cross the lake. If you camp with family and kids, dont worry with the toilet. The water is fresh from the mountain, but when rain come, it will become black and dirty. The water is also quite cold.
There also some waterfall in surrounding area, the one in the park just recently open for public, it's quite small. The largest one i guess is Curug Cibereum, you got to hike to Mount Gede, maybe only around 9min hike, more or less 1,7km.
Dont worry with foods, you can buy one at the parking lot or just eat there.
There is also Mosque for you to pray at the main office. You can actually can also ask for electricity when camp there, i was charge Rp150k for that, need to charges some gadgets hehe...

Great parking lot, for trucks, bus, car and motorcycle. Lots of shelter (local shops/warung 24 hour for hikers)
