★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cakes are so delicous. I came at 09.00am and it was already full. It opens at 07.00am so you can grab a cake and get a cup of coffee or tea for breakfast. The place for eating cake is a little bit small, i think it has fewer than 10 tables. I try 4 kinds of cakes, and love all of them! My fave is the pork bread, so yummy!

Have salty and sweet flood, coffees, juice and tea.
The lemon juice very acid, I did mistake.
The sandwich was ok and the sandwich bread nice.

But, I know the Chicory from a friend of mine who was carrying nice environmentally friendly packaging and telling me that they have super super great pastries, sandwiches and desserts and everything is freshly made. This happened during last PPKM so so I decided to give it a try.
I checked Chicory's IG and I found their WA number. Their quiet fast and very responsive. Oh ya, no delivery service so we have to arrange it ourselves.
I think, I had best croissants ever.. never find anything it before in Jakarta. Every purchased items... I really like them, no regrets!! Beyond my expectations. A little pricey but worth it. Taste is really great, the level of sweetness are perfect, oh well everything is just awesome.
Great job Chicory team, thank you for bringing such yummy stuff ?

First of all, they have two different areas. One for the dining, another one is for the patisserie.
I didnt try the dining one, so couldnt say anything about it. But I uploaded the menu here if you want to peek.
The pastry is so yummy yet so expensive! Haha. Texture of the tarts is perfect, topping they use is so refreshing! They usually open at 7 AM, so when I went there at night, not many options to offer. During Christmas day, they will be close and open again the next day at the same time.
I asked the staff there about the leftover pastry, they said they throw all leftover everyday. Hopefully if there is any organization or community can collect their waste, would be very useful and helpful for the planet.
Parking lot is not big by the way, probably can only fit 3 cars.

No wonder they are busy in the mornings cause they’re just the best,
Oh, they also serve simple coffee like Cappuccino, latte, flat white, which really compliments the bread. 5 out of 5

Ambience is good, and location is easy to find. Price is a high compare to other patisseries, and coffee is also pricey for one cup; overall is not bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicory is the best French Patisserie in Jakarta. According to the owner, all their machines and moulds come from France. Using top quality ingredients, it’s products really shine. Unlike other cafes in Jakarta, the food they produce is classic European. You don’t beed fancy gimmicks if you’re using quality ingredients and great tools + skill.
From their pastry team, their croissants are certainly the best in Jakarta without question. Flaky layers with the unmistaken fragrance of butter. I also enjoy their Vanilla Citron Tart.
For their savoury menu, their Omelette is certainly in a league of their own. Soft and fluffy on the inside like a cloud but not runny. No comparison anywhere in Indonesia. Very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So fresh & delicious pastry. I love to eat plain croissant (30k) and Salmon Quiche Cappers Oill (82k). All service is good. The place so classic like home. It's better to go in the morning at 10-11am, because all the menus are still complete and fresh from oven
