★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Satenya enak. Tongsengnya juga enak. Di samping kiri kanan ada mie keriting, sate kambing/ayam, soto bogor dan tahu gejrot. Kita juga bisa makan sambil berteduh di taman lawang yang terletak di depannya. Jangan lupa untuk tetap menjaga kebersihan taman, ya.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gak ada namanya, hanya tulisan Sate, Gulai, Tongseng saja, ditambahin Taman Lawang karena emang lokasinya di situ.
Harga tongsengnya 23rb, porsinya gak banyak memang, tapi nyegerin dan kuahnya itu yg bikin ketagihan. Kolnya yg bikin kriuk2 dengan daging kambing yg tidak alot tapi juga tidak lembek
Selain tongseng, nasi goreng kambingnya juga rekomen. Oh iya, semua dimasak dengan anglo dan dikipasin.

Aku pesan hampir semua menu dg total 120K. Buatku utk sekian banyak makanan, harganya sangat sangat sesuai
- sate kambing (10 tusuk): dagingnya gemuk gemuk, rasanya cukup asin, bau kambingnya ga gitu kentara, cuma rada alot dikit. Ini kalo bapaknya bisa bikin rada empuk dikit, dah sempurna ini. Ga pelit sama sekali porsinya
- sate sapi (10 tusuk): sama ini juga gemuk gemuk, bumbu kecapnya meresap, gurih manis asin, empuk juga. Perfekto!
- tongseng: dagingnya banyak ga cuma kol sama tomat doang. Bapaknya pake tomat ijo dan somehow itu balance bgt rasa berlemak dari santan dan dagingnya. Santannya berasa gurih, mirip gulai daging tapi lebih ringan bumbu dan santannya.
- nasi goreng kambing: smoky karena bapaknya masak pakai arang ya. Enak deh dimakan bareng satenya.
Kami makannya di pinggiran taman lawang. Padahal siang jam 12an gitu tapi daerahnya ga terlalu ramai, ga ribut, ga panas, mana angin sepoi sepoi. Satu sih kurangnya, banyak lalat pas mulai makan jadi mesti kreatif nutupin makanan di meja.

- Tongseng: a lot of meat, not just cabbage and tomatoes. His father uses green tomatoes and somehow it balances the fatty taste of the coconut milk and the meat. The coconut milk has a savory taste, similar to beef curry but lighter in seasoning and coconut milk.
- Goat fried rice: smoky because the father cooks it with charcoal. It's good to eat with the satay.
We ate it on the outskirts of Taman Lawang. Even though it's 12 noon, but the area is not too crowded, not noisy, not hot, where is the breeze. One drawback, there are a lot of flies when you start eating, so you have to be creative in covering the food on the table.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would not say this is the best but certainly offers good tongseng.
Authentic traditional tongseng with satay. You can choose either mutton or chicken for your meal.
Limited seats and its on a paveway so dont expect much for comfort however since its located near a park and under a big tree you'll forget the hustle bustle of Jakarta for a while.
Will comeback for sure.
