★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food are delicious, they have infuses tequila counter and explain to us one by one. Tequila is not strong but I have nice experience to try this with friends, the glass shot made from ice, nice. I love how they serve the smoke crème brûlée ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A delicious spread of Mexican Peruvian cuisine! The tacomakase menu choices are all to die for, especially the super tender and juicy grilled ox-tongue combined with the crispy blue corn tortilla and the perfect spicyness and tanginess. Washed down with a glass of margarita then it's made for perfect dinner at a warm yet vibrant ambiance of Carbon. Would definitely be back here for another fantastic dinner!

The ambient was great. And of course their food is the main star here! A must try latin american restaurant in Jakarta! Tasty food that worth every penny you spend.
Definitely must try their Blackened Wagyu Tongue ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had dinner at Carbón a few weeks ago with a few dear friends of mine and we are ultimately satisfied with both the service and the food that the Carbón team delivered! Simply a superb experience.
Right when we arrived we were pleasantly greeted by Lidwina and was led to our table.
And Wiwie presented us with the menu, helped us choose what are the recommended food that we need to try. We are so glad to have her as our server that night as it was clear that she has mastered the menu explanation and passionately explained to us what to expect if we ordered certain food, kudos to you Wiwie!
The ambience of the restaurant is really enjoyable and the view from the window is just simply amazing as it overlooks the metropolitan city of Jakarta.
And the food! Oh my god the food is out of this world. We ordered some quesabirrias, oyster mushroom anticucho, and tuna tostada as the starter and they were a mouth watering sensation to eat as each bite pack so much flavor.
One of my friend wanted to try the vegetarian menu they had on their menu "Cauliflower steak" (recommended by Wiwie) and we were astonished by how such a humble ingredient as cauliflower could be made so delicious!
I myself had the duck breast tacos which was just so juicy and tender. Accompanied with fresh avocado crema and salsa roja as the sauce, and also grilled pineapple and freshly sliced crisp white onion, so full of festive flavors!
Another friend of mine had the beef tacos, which I don't really like very much but apparently he did. Because I thought the beef already mainly tastes bitter and umami but then paired with chocolatey umami sauce again?
And we also had the churros-donut thing which was so good as it was crunchy and soft on the inside and paired with delicious chocolatey sauce on the side.
Kudos to the chefs as well! Especially chef Jeffry who we got to greet at the chef's station
All in all, it was a great dining experience! Looking forward to many more visits when I come back to Indonesia again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our new all-round restaurant to beat. Everything was good, but the charred and smokey cauliflower was the best item on the menu. Decent wine menu and steaks were on point. I hope I find a better all round restaurant but not likely any time soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great grills and tapas. Their steaks especially the A4 were top notch (my pic didn't do justice to the dish). The crab puff was ?? The coconut dessert also super swoon ?? while the table action on the creme brulee was suitably exciting. ps: I love how they still take hygiene protocols seriously with the sanitized personal utensils and properly distanced seating. There were many more dishes I tried, mostly great, but as always those marked with ?? = Jakarta = exceptional
