β β β β β Candi bercorak Buddha yg berada di sekitar kompleks Candi Prambanan. Candi yg masih berupa reruntuhan ini, karena belum selesai dipugar, sebenarnya berkaitan erat dg keberadaan Candi Sewu yg juga bercorak Buddha. Di sini kalian bisa mendapati struktur pondasi kaki candi, stupa, dan tentu saja batuan-batuan candi yg masih berserakan. Sejarah mencatat, Candi Gana dibangun sekitar abad IX M diketahui berdasarkan bentuk perbingkaian kaki dan bawah tubuh candi yaitu bingkai belah rotan dan sisi genta. Bentuk-bentuk belah rotan dan sisi genta merupakan tanda-tanda bangunan yang dibangun pada abad IX M saat Mataram kuno diperintah oleh dinasti Syailendara. Berdasarkan hasil rekontruksi, Candi induk Gana berdenah bujur sangkar. Profil kaki candi yang tersisa terdiri dari bingkai rata, padma ,dan belah rotan. Pada sisi barat terdapat sebuah tangga yang komponennya belum lengkap dan strukturnya menyatu dengan kaki candi. Keberadaan tangga ini dapat menjelaskan arah hadap candi , yaitu ke arah barat.
Buddhist-style temple located around the Prambanan Temple complex. This temple, which is still in ruins, because it has not been completely restored, is actually closely related to the existence of Sewu Temple which is also Buddhist in style. Here you can find the foundation structure of the foot of the temple, stupas, and of course the scattered temple rocks. History records that Gana Temple was built around the IX century AD. It is known based on the shape of the frame of the legs and the lower body of the temple, namely the rattan frame and the side of the bell. The shapes of the rattan cut and the side of the bell are signs of a building built in the IX century AD when ancient Mataram was ruled by the Syailendana dynasty. Based on the results of the reconstruction, the main temple of Gana is square. The remaining foot profiles of the temple consist of flat frames, padma, and split rattan. On the west side there is a ladder whose components are incomplete and the structure is attached to the foot of the temple. The existence of this ladder can explain the direction towards the temple, which is to the west.
