★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a cozy cafe near by Borobudur temple. Although the location is quite far by the street, it is easy to find. Now, Cactus cafe is booming amongs the local teenagers. They prefer hunting photos to enjoying the atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The layout is really nice and the cactus collections are so cute, they are also updated periodically. I went there three times to find different cactuses sold at reasonable price.
Comfortable and bright for hangout or just take photos. Food is also delicious, drinks are also good although I wish they had coffe lattes....
Also they have a chess set!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A spacious steel warehouse cafe, with concrete look ceramic slab floor, some colonial style furniture, and a lot of various ?, it's a good.place to chill, with a very short menu. We had a chicken rice bowl that tasted as expected, no great but yummy, a Tabasco beef pizza, that was merely an unrolled burrito, far too sweet AND salty at the same time (that thing can never deserve the name of a pizza ?, maybe the shape of we are generous).
The 2 drinks were good (golden barrel coffee milk and caramelo de mango ) but far too sweet for our taste. So not great, just good. The staff is friendly, the wifi is good, the music is relaxing (not too loud, and good, mix of Indonesian (Archito Pramono) and foreign).
We had a good time, only spoilt by the pizza style burrito ?.

Once again, we are travelling to Borobudur, and it seems that's ? Cafe is the only place worth to eat ?..
This time we went for pasta aglio with chicken, and chicken sesame.
My dish (pasta) was bland , not much taste for either the pasta or the chicken.
The sesame chicken fared better, but all considered, it's not a foody resto....it's just an art café, with some good space, and vintage furn, and ?. I have visited places a lot better than that. It's not bad, but the second time we visit, it feels boring.
We'll try to find another place next time we visit Borobudur.
