Very affordable accommodation is offered, but at the cost of some quality, and offering only bare bones accomodation. The rooms were of very primitive construction, with thin walls so you can hear every word uttered by your neighbours. The air-conditioning does not quite work in the heat of the afternoon, but performs just well enough at night when environmental temperatures fall below 30 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, service was good and the rooms were tidied daily. Its proximity to the Borobodur Temple makes it accessible, should one opt to go for the sunrise tour offered by Manohara Hotel. Cempaka Villa also sells tickets to the sunrise your on behalf of Manohara Hotel, albeit sans student rates, at 470, 000 rupiah. Complimentary breakfast is served between 7 and 10 am. Although cost effective, if one's pockets permit, a stay at the Sheraton nearer to the Jogjakarta city centre offers better comfort.

Cenpaka villa is a good accommodation close by the Borobudur main entrance. The beds are descent enough, and the bathroom is well equipped with a bath and shower combo. The breakfast was okay and the food in the evening was also okay. So if you want to have a good and cheap hotel I would definitely recommend this one.

Pretty decent hotel to stay near Borobudur. The hotel is literally next to Borobudur temple. It's < 5 mins by car or ~15 mins by walking to get to Borobudur entrance. Plenty of restaurants/cafes next door to eat or hangout at. Breakfast and wifi is provided for free. Unfortunately, the wifi signal is pretty spotty though. The bedroom is quite small but decent. Hard to fit a big suitcase, and barely fit carry on size suitcase to be able to open it. En-suite bathroom is quite big but it's semi-outdoor bath. I found a small dead cockroach on the bathtub the morning I woke up after 1st night. I has to ask my husband to flush it down. So, u know.... Also, my in-laws' room can't even be locked and it has no mirror in the bathroom. The staffs are quite friendly though, they do try to help as best they can at the time. The worst part for us is the thin wall and the non existent sound barrier. The noise from the nearby mosque also pretty loud and will most likely wake you up in the early morning, so I suggest to prepare yourself with some earplugs. Overall, it's an ok hotel to stay for a couple nights or so.

A nice and comfy hotel. This hotel has a traditional javanese architecture. Overall this hotel is so good plus it's so close to the borobudur main gate. The only troubles for me are hot water and bathtub. The hot water is not running constantly, sometimes it's hot and sometimes it's cold. And the bathtub cannot be filled, because of the leak at the bottom.

Nice and clean place to stay and only 5 minute walk from Borobudur Temple. Staff was helpful and corteous. They helped us in getting a ticket for the Damri bus to the airport. The restaurant is also quite good and had a homey feel as the villa's main sitting area.

I had a wonderful time at the Villa. The location was great and the rooms are reasonable clean. I love the room setup, with generous divider to separate the bathroom and the sleeping area. It was perfect as a resting place for Borobudur and hikes in the area. There are both indoor and outdoor sitting area. It's perfect for alfresco dinning or just a gathering if it rains. The staff were friendly and well-trained in hospitality. Food was decent and the chef is opened to suggestion and changes. It was fantastic. I had a great time.

Beautiful new villa style accommodation. Traditional Java style but with ultra modern finishing. Well worth staying there.

Nice place, neat and clean. The room is also unique and antique. The staffs are kind and helpful. Love the vibes and the area too. It’s so near to Borobudur Temple, great price and also near to other bussiness site especially food stall.
