★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looks can be deceiving.
Been craved for this cake for such years ago when it launched because of the tempting look.
But as you can recall, never judge the book by its cover.
My bad, I trust the look to much that makes my logic wasn't used.
The review from another people is quite convincing, so I decided to give it a try and buy one cake.
Enough is enough.
The cake doesn't satisfy my crave for pleasure.. should this be your consideration also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shop sells rain cakes, they are good despite the flavor humbleness. I would say that the taste is pretty predictable and nothing's new here. The shop is nicely located in one of Bogor's main road.
The price (judging from the fact that the taste is not really special and you actually can get the legendary brownies from Prima Rasa for less) is quite pricey.
Pros: good, moist cake; easy to locate

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place quite easy to find. The marketing is good so it has a very long queue. They served quite quick and because of the long queue the amount you buy is limited (1 person only can buy 2 cakes). It taste ordinary, maybe because I expect more after waiting in the queue for a long time too. The cakes almost taste the same with their sisters shop (surabaya snow cake, and medan napoleon). The cakes have same texture and I think almost same cake, just different presentation. But at least you have to try it once, i like choco peanut flavor and greentea flavor (coz its an Ovomaltine Greentea).

The average brand like this is owned by celebrities or entertainers famous this country. They compete to offer cakes with the characteristics and uniqueness of each region. For the cake itself has a lot of flavor variants with a slightly expensive price (IDR 65,000 for one box of cake).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my first time visit to so called artist cake in Bogor, but not my first try to taste the cake (because my sister has been bought it). I thought the cake so tasty (I tried caramel tart cake by the way), the cream of tart just make the cake perfect and this is one of chocolate taste that I loved, so The Caramel Tart is my recommendation. When I visit the store, the Manggo tart and Durian Tart are not going to product anymore. I do not know why they just explain it was the policy of management itself. Its quite sad, because I haven't try that one. Next, the recommendation rain tart (this information I got from asking to the sales), vanilla cheese, red taro and blueberry cheese. I picked red taro raincake. Gimme time to try, but i guess it should be delicious as it look. So, visit Bogor and you don't have to doubt for try some. Cheers!
