★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best porridge I ever eat near senopati. Cheap and very delicious. Even though the place was a little small but they have outdoor seating which is the best place to seat here. You should try Bubur Polos or nasi hainan and steamed chicken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique Porridge House in Jakarta Selatan ? very crowded during dinner hour. Expect queue. Which is very surprising.
Many have tried to copy the legendary Bubur Ayam Mangga Besar, this eatery did a good job ??
On the down side, the food is pricey. But I think it's worth it than having to take an hour drive to Mangga Besar

Located in a second floor flat. Chairs and tables looks compact setting considering the limited space. However we still can manage the privacy during the time. And yes, pls avoid the busy dinner time as you may need to wait for available seats.
Ordered their plain porridge and variety side dishes. Telur pitan, ayam rebus/panggang (which look more like hainan style chicken), chicken liver. All are perfectly balanced, tasty and delicious.
Price wise its considered ok compare to infamous porridge restaurant nearby. Spent around 200++ for 3 person.
Must visit if you’re nearby!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whether you come here for dinner or a late night snack, you will be treated to the great congee. The congee is not watery, and comes in 3 types: chicken, fish, plain and brown rice. We tried the plain congee with tons of additionals condiments. Steam chicken, roast chicken, phitan and cakwe. Nevertheless, we were completely satisfied with what we ordered.
The steamed chicken is fragrant, tender and sweet. On the otherhand, the roast chicken is overly salty by their sauce. All the side dishes we ordered were served on a plate, with chopped spring onion, ginger, and a lovely pickle, I dont recall. Is it jicama?, Cah Kue was free. The porridge itself has a mild taste, and delicious in its own right, but when you eat it with the side dishes and condiment, they are like perfect marriage. None has overpowering taste, and together they taste absolutely delicious.
Pricewise, it is bit pricey, but if it is good ya why not

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favorite place to eat porridge. The place is quite comfortable even though it’s not that spacey. I think their best spot is the table outside in their front area. All of their foods are recommended to try. But personally, I recommend you to try their ‘ayam rebus’ (steamed chicken), it’s the best!
