★ ★ ★ ★ ★ hamzah & terang bulan have the most astonishing collection of artisanal batik, I mean batik tulis, hand drawn & batik cap, hand stamped; but it’s at batik keris you go when it comes to shirts & attires that you can really use. what do I mean with that? very artisanal batik is unusable on your skin as a shirt, it’s for sarong only. on my skin at least. perhaps the cloth used for artisanal batik is not as fine as batik keris’ primissima cotton.
batik keris’ design is incredible. everything is done with accurate detalis. the primissima cotton printed batiks are awesome. when you walk in the street and you see someone using a batik keris shirt you recognize it because of the perfect cut, the top quality of the cotton & the beautiful colors & patterns. batik can be very very wrong & look cheap. batik keris is always chic. I bought 30+ shirts in jakarta & jogia. & a full spectrum of gifts for all my friends. the best
