★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My go to place for a bowl of noodle. There are so many option to choose from. Yongyam special 1 is my favorite, with topping such as boiled shrimp (3 pieces), pork with mushroom, pork wonton (1), steamed chopped-pork (2 slices) and of course pork crackling. For addition I ordered fried pork wonton. The price ia reasonable.

Bakmi Special 3 for 31 K IDR. The portions are somewhat small for me, but i guess i do eat a lot. That being said, imho the taste is amazing for this price since most other purveyors of pork will charge at least 33% more.
The noodles are light and springy, the prawns were cooked perfectly, and the soy-stewed meat and mushrooms mix (under the fried wonton/pangsit) is arguably one of the best you can find in Jakarta. Sadly the boiled wontons are meh and the fried meatball was kinda chewy - although it is actually pretty well seasoned. Subsequently, the steamed homemade spam was quite good, really almost there and just needed a bit more spice. The fried wonton was also a bit mixed - the skin is nice and crunchy but the filling was lacking. Finally, the broth was just fresh and light - imho it complements the rich variety of the dish really well and i appreciate its simplicity.
Luckily their homemade chili sauce is actually really good - arguably the best i have ever had since most other similar outlets don't seem to care enough to make their chili sauce properly. Furthermore, the bean sprouts and spring onions really help lift the dish to make it taste light and adds some fresh crunch to the proceedings. I am glad to say that their Lo Chu Pan version of the same dish is also quite good - definitely better than some other Lo Chu Pan i have had elsewhere.
As for drinks, their simple menu allows for basic tea etc which may be boring for some but i do appreciate the fact that it makes it so much more affordable to dine here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy noodle with many options for side dishes, from wonton, meatballs, etc. The price is quite reasonable, but the portion is not that big. Very small shop, so better watch out or risk missing the store completely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and humble noodle shop in Mangga Besar area. There is a lot variety of noodle's topping here. We ordered mie ayam kampung, ayam jamur, and mie special 1. My personal favorite is mie ayam kampung. But the other toppings were good too. They used thin noodles. The portion wasn't really much but can still make you full. Will come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest noodle stall in the area, the place is quite small, they provide variant of noodle and meatball, the taste is just OK, they also have special ingredients sort of pork chop stuff (nyupiang). The waiter is need to be more friendly. The price is average.

Love the variety of condiments that accompany bakmi “special 3”, from fried meat ball, to pangsit, all delicious.
Price is decent, however the portion rather small for lunch ( for me just perfect for breaky!)
