★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if I was not mistaken, this was the first established bakmi permata. interior have been upgraded and looked modernized. i would suggest the management to upgrade also the exterior signage as the Bakmi Permata signage have faded and unreadable. if I had not known that there was a bakmi permata in that area, I would not have known it as the signage needs to changed. food was ok but not too delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the oldest Bakmi Permata, one of the most well known chinese restaurant in town. The place looks traditional and comfortable. It is neat and clean as well. I tried its Bakmi Ayam (Chicken Noodle) and Cumi Goreng Tepung (Fried Squid). Both are awesome! Especially the Cumi Goreng Tepung, it is something extraordinary. It is crispy and rich in flavor. A little bit spicy that surprise the sleepy head. Every dine in customer will be given complementary dessert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At least 28 years ago this is the noodle that my family and I will stop by for some noodles and the traditional free dessert that taste as good as years ago.Just the sweet potato that's different. If I,remembered well.My kids would love to have the noodles and desserts if they visit Jakarta once again.

Great unique noodles (Bakmi, Bihun, Kwetiau) & great fried rice!
-1 star for its comparatively raised pricing. Not cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant looked gloomy that you don't feel like going in. It smells "old" too. I think because it has no fresh air coming in? I dont see any windows. Foods are okay although its not really cheap.
