This casual traditional food shop Angkringan offer you many kind of signature "Nasi Angkringan" and grills such as Bakso Bakar, Sosis Bakar, Usus Bakar and also traditional beverages such as ginger tea, and Wedang Tape. Popular by travellers...The taste was so-so compared by the similiar Angkringan in town..yet the price abit expensive for those similiar Angkringan..

Great cheap foods with a lot of varieties, specialty of Yogyakarta. If you come to visit Jogja, you must stop at one of the angkringan in KR (Kedaulatan Rakyat), 100 metres south of Tugu. You can choose as many foods as you want and still wind up paying less than Rp 100,000 (USD 8)

Nasi kucing is the distinctive menu of an angkringan-a small handful of rice accompanied by some cooked tempe or anchovies wrapped in banana leaves and paper. You have many options to accompany your rice, mostly served as skewers in small portion. Stinky bean chili is their signature, and of course you can always order hot ginger milk or joss coffee (coffee with dipped charcoal) to complete the adventure!

One of my personal favourite "Angkringan" in the town. Angkringan Pak Jabrik have so many variations of Nasi Kucing and Sate. Very affordable price, started from IDR 3K. You better ask for the food price to avoid over budget when you're paying. The cashier will count your food price before they give you spoon and ordering the beverage.

maybe this angkringan is the most crowded angkringan, the worker is very friendly, even it is crowded, they are willing to explain one by one what kind of food it is...the most surprising is the price...it is very cheap...only 33k for 3 person... because i heard someone said about coffee, then suddenly i remember about Kopi Joss...i ordered one, 6k...it is funny, but in my opinion it is just like normal coffee and too sweet...
