★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool and beautiful waterfall! We spent nights at Riverhill, and near the resort we can walk and reach the waterfall nearer compared the other way higher place near Bale kambang.
Around the waterfall, we can enjoy sate, and some other foods.
If you want to feel the cold water, there is a pool also.
A tips: there are monkeys around. Beware if you bring some foods, they will interested to you and might follow you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great scenery. There's a big waterfall within the hills and forest. You can walk a half hour to reach this place after buying the ticket. There are 2entrance if you want to see the waterfall and waterboom. I took entrance 2 or second entrance that's so challenging because you had to hike up and down along the trail which can be slippery when its rain. It's worth to try until you see beautiful Scenery

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hiking dude. Please, please. MUST BE Carefull with the mongkeys. If u buy any drink there. U drink, and put it straightforward to your bag. Otherwise if u carry the drink in your hand, the mongkey will try hard to steal from you. It happened to my son.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waterfall was beautiful. From the parking lot you have to walk, there are markets along the way who sell food, plants, clothes, etc. At the waterfall entrance you should buy a ticket, after that you need to get through 1250 stairs to the waterfall, it may be tired but it was worth it to see such a good place that nature has reserved. There are many monkeys all over the place so make sure you do not bring food and beverages around them especially if you bring plastic bag or else they will take it away aggressively from you. There are also canteens, pool and some people who bring camera will offer you to take a photo that can be printing on spot and it will cost you (I forgot how much per photo). The minus point was there is still garbage everywhere, it sad to see people tend to ignore the cleanliness in natural preserved. We should be more aware if we go anywhere especially in natural reserve we need to behave ourselves not to ruin a beautiful place with littering.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful waterfall I have ever saw in my life. It can be considered a huge waterfall holding its 81 meter spot above the ground. I would suggest people to go and visit this place at around 8 o'clock in the morning since they just opened up on that time therefore you will barely see any other people on the spot and so you will get a sweet photo spot on the bridge later on. Keep in mind that this place closes at 5 o'clock in the evening. In addition, the entrances toward this destination are actually in 2 side, namely loket 1 and loket 2. If you just wanna visit the waterfall with a little walking go for loket 2. Since you will only walk for +- 700 meter around 15 minutes (the path nice with stone based ground finishing, *can be slippery). If you want to go for the whole journey as the name Grojogan Sewu (translated as 1000 Stairs from javanese transcript) then go for loket 1. Bear that it might take a while and tiring. But I am assuring you will get the whole experience with the whole scenery upon the walking (might take 45 - 60 minutes) dependind on your speed.
