★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Berawal dari Madrasah Diniyah dengan wakaf dari alm. H.Jamhur bin H Limun. Madrasah Diniyah tersebut diresmikan menjadi Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Tahun 1980. Tingginya apresiasi masyarakat terhadap madrasah ini menggugah hati pendirinya untuk mendirikan sekolah dengan jenjang yang lebih tinggi yaitu Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) sekolah sederajat dengan Sekolah Menegah Pertama (SMP) yaitu Tahun 1987. Sebelumnya H. Muhayar telah mendirikan sebuah yayasan bernama Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Al Jamhuriyah dengan akte notaris Ny. Sri Hastuti Tjahjadi, SH nomor 4 tanggal 1 September 1987.
Madrasah Tsanawiyah ini diberikan nama MTs Al Jamhuriyah sama seperti nama yayasan tersebut. Madrasah ini berlokasi di tempat yang sangat nyaman dan strategis yaitu beralamat di Jalan Raya Gandul No. 28 Kelurahan Gandul, Kecamatan Cinere, kota Depok. Madrasah yang mulai beroperasi pada tahun 1987 mendapat izin operasional dari Departemen Agama Propinsi Jawa Barat dengan nomor Wi/I/HK 008/374/1994 tanggal 11 Nopember 1994.
Starting from the Madrasa Diniyah with waqf from the late H. Jamhur bin H Limun. The Diniyah Madrasah was inaugurated as the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in 1980. The high appreciation of the community towards madrasa inspires its founders to establish higher level schools, namely Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) of equal schools with the First Middle School (SMP) in 1987. Previously H. Muhayar has established a foundation called the Al Jamhuriyah Islamic Education Foundation with notary deed Ny. Sri Hastuti Tjahjadi, SH number 4 dated September 1, 1987.
This Madrasah Tsanawiyah is given the name MTs Al Jamhuriyah just like the name of the foundation. This Madrasa is located in a very convenient and strategic place, namely having its address at Jalan Raya Gandul No. 28 Gandul Village, Cinere District, Depok City. Madrasas which began operating in 1987 received operational permits from the Department of Religion of West Java Province with the number Wi / I / HK 008/374/1994 dated 11 November 1994.
