★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great value and very unique flavours.
This restaurant uses whole, natural ingredients. I had a salad with grilled chicked, watermelon and feta. You might think that wouldn't work, but it does. For dessert I had bananas with coconut cream. Very rich and indulgent!
The price is more than for local food at local restaurants, of course, but it's still very good value.
I will come again when I have someone to bring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best place around Jogja for a peaceful relaxed tasty brunch with organic ingredients including passion fruit, homemade yoghurt, fruit compote, cafetière, omelette with muringa and chilli grown in the surrounding beautiful gardens, and with a friendly community of staff, guests and neighbours and if you are lucky the owner Dave Hodgkins who is a force of nature. Vegan Ice cream made from pure fruit only with no sugar is also amazing! Solar powered lights for reading later. WiFi hotspot. A little piece of paradise :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place! I fell in love with vegetarian food for the first time here. I ordered Vegan Curry with low expectation that it would satisfied my taste but I was shocked that it was actually taste like normal curry and there was a hint of Rajungan broth in it. I was like “How come?!”
And I also ordered Vegan Burger, a burger with tempe in it. No complain! It was very delicious.
In conclusion, I was came from the north and it was all worth it for a 1 hour traveling.

To find a restaurant of this quality in a little village was a big and happy surprise. Yabbiekayu grows a most of their own vegetables and fruit. This means that a menu item will be a touch different every time you eat there, and every time it will be fresh and gorgeous. They even grow their own rice.
The menu offers both International and Indonesian dishes, and although the Indonesian dishes are not as spicy perhaps as you might find in a more traditional restaurant, you won't lose out on flavour.
I had the pleasure of eating there a few times over my recent visit to Yogyakarta. Particular favourites of mine include their tempe; the breakfast banana pikelets; and opor ayam.
Just look at the photos attached to this review and you can see for yourself some of the beautiful food I and my companions were served - hard to believe but these are genuine photos of what we were given, not "glamour" shots. My mouth is watering again as I look at them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here for a la carte breakfast with friends which one of them is vegan. The ambience is very relaxing and homey. Nice service too, warmest smiles from the welcoming to the farewell.
I had Omelette with two slices of large homemade Sourdough, recommended! Their seasonal fruit platter as well, always fresh from their garden they said, cool!
Highly recommended for those who looking for healthy choice to vegan dishes, with affordable price and great taste.
