★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The destination is a selfie spot at the top of the Botorono hill which is visible from the main street from Parakan to Kledung or Wonosobo. Until now this has been a natural camping ground and selfie spot popular among young people. They start hiking uphill from a parking lot in front of a small church (looking like a house). I and my wife went here before the construction of facilities was finished. We turned from the main street through a steep, winding road for about 2 km, stopped at the parking lot, and hired a ride (ojek) for Rp 20,000.- per person. The hiking path was being cemented, and the steep parts were indeed very dangerous for us, thanks God we made it. The last climb was very steep, but the view around was great, with Mt. Sindoro in the background. Here stairs and toilets were being constructed. Now the construction is finished.
