A great chef was there sharing his knowledge and wisdom to young pupils at the cafe. A place for college students to hangout. Unfortunately the youthful and spirited ambience was ruined by construction work while I was there.

Was there for 30 mins and no waitress came to our table. After that waitress gave the menu and left, only to find that most of the foods in menu are sold out. The only thing that entertaining was live acoustic.

Good selection of indomie variations, good desserts also. Overall atmosphere is quite nice, but I'd prefer more separation from the main Margonda road (dirt, pollution) and the interior. Cleanliness is very lacking especially during peak times, dirty floor, the table can get rather nasty at the corners near the cashier (get a separate room for those crates will you?). Internet doesn't work sometimes (more often than not). VIP area (nonsmoking air conditioned enclosed area) is better, but the music is too loud (it's a smaller area, so you have to adjust the volume so the customers inside don't have to shout to have a normal conversation). Also, please find a better singer for the live music or do away with it at all (it's more annoying than entertaining). Good place for chitchat/quick dinner before moving on to other venues or after returning from other places. Not so good for work/study.

Unbelievably disappointing in almost all aspects; facilities, menu, advertisement, food, and service. Facilities: No electrical sockets. But they do have paid-rental powerbank. No non-smoking room. It’s weird that the waitress asked us whether we wanted non/smoking area but then she said that we are not allowed to sit in the non-smoking area because it needs reservation. TOTALLY WEIRD. Menu: POOR. No information about tax whatsoever. Advertisement: We decided to go here because of their advertisement on Instagram that they provide free food on Friday 15/3 (Paket Receh). On Instagram, they said the requirement was ONLY to follow their account. When we got there, the waitress said we had to post a picture on our timelineβ€”which we preferred not to, and just pay for our food instead Food: Food was okay. Not that special, but still worth Rp10k. We ordered Paket Receh Nasi Goreng and Mie Halilintar. For drink, we ordered thai tea but it was extremely sweet. The worst thai tea ever. Service: VERY BAD. I hate the manners of some of the waitresses. They treated us like we were kids, never said β€œexcuse me”, and whenever we asked them, they gave us either wrong information or judgmental looks. First, I asked about how much it costs for Paket Receh, and she replied β€œya sepuluh ribu aja lah kak, kalo emg ga mau post di ig ya berarti ga gratis. Langsung aja bilang ke kasirnya ntar”. Second, we were still thinking about what food to pick. However I felt very uncomfortable because the waitress kept staring at us, and suddenly she approached us asking β€œudah mau pesen blm kak?” without smiling, without saying excuse me, as if we were intruders who just wanted to sit down without orders. Third, I came to the cashier. I was going to pay for Paket Receh using OVO. The cashier said I could use OVO, but she didn’t know how to process Paket Receh with payment. She immediately called her colleagues for help but they ended up gossiping about me (I overheard this). Another annoying thing right after was that the other cashier told me that I could not use OVO because I was buying Paket Receh. And last, apparently tax was not included on the menu. Unbelievable. Fourth, we finished our food, the waitress approached us (again without saying excuse me), and said β€œpiringnya udah nih ya kak, mau diambil”. Last but not least, the only two things that don’t make this the worst are the playlist and the parking-guy. The songs were nice and the parking-guy was responsible with his job (not just asking for Rp2k but also tidying up the motorcycles). The parking lot also only costs Rp1k/motorcycle. Definitely will never go back to any Whatsup cafe on earth LOL. Not recommended. Too disappointing.

The place is big but narrow because the tables aren't too far from each other. Good place for hang out with your group, there are some board games too but not in a good condition. I order milkshake the last time I go there, but it was too sweet...

An alternative for other modern style instant noodles restaurant at Margonda Street. Located between Pondok Cina & UI train station, and could be easily accessed using public transportation. The place only has small parking space and when the place is packed with motorbikes it will be difficult for parking your car. The restaurant offers original fried and boiled instant noodles (with various toppings), specialized instant noodles, rice options, toasts, snacks and beverages. The price is absolutely affordable as it is designed to target university students living in the surounding areas. Peak hour is usually between 6 pm to late night. The place also offers traditional games for free to bring on your table. Karambol board, conglak, chess, UNO and scrable will surely bring fun on your desk when spending time with your friends here.

This place needs air conditioner or atleast air circulation system to manage. Some fans are broken too. It is getting worse that everyone could smoke here. They should provide a particular area for smoker. No air circulation and everyone could smoke in every corner. Boom!
