★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sebenarnya Watu Gubug itu sebelum Menara. Dulu menara TNI ini disebut Puncak 2 dan Watu Gubug Puncak 1. Dilanjutkan Itulah kenapa jalur Thekelan, Kopeng disebut memiliki 7 Puncak. Pos menara TNI ini juga merupakan salah satu camp area meski jarak ke puncak Kentheng Songo masih 2.5 jam....
Actually, it was before the Tower Gubug Watu. Formerly the TNI tower was called Puncak 2 and Watu Gubug Puncak 1. Continued That is why the Thekelan lane, Kopeng is said to have 7 peaks. The TNI tower post is also one of the camp areas although the distance to the top of Kentheng Songo is still 2.5 hours ....

Ternyata menyenangkan dan membuat ketagihan untuk mendaki gunung sampai saat sekarang.
Anakku pun aku kenalkan tentang kepencitaalaman pertama kali mendaki gunung merbabu ini.
Dianya kinipun suka menjelajah alam bersama teman-temannya tanpa aku dampingi lagi.
First time here in 1983 and first time to know to climb the mountain.
It turned out to be fun and addictive to climb the mountain until now.
I introduced my child to the first experience of climbing Mount Merbabu.
Dianya kinipun likes to explore nature with her friends without me accompanied again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ a place stand before the menara peak/pringgodani of merbabu via thekelan track. a spot to take a break from challenging track and the more challenging ahead of menara/tower and jembatan setan spot. unfortunately there're irresponsible people doing vandalism at the site.
