★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SD Wates II berdiri pada tanggal 1 Februari 1931. Saat itu masih dalam pemerintahan penjajahan Belanda. Semula namanya Schoecle School atau Sekolah Dasar sekarang. Schoecle School maksudnya sekolah bangsa Jawa yang berbahasa Belanda. Schoecle school dimulai dari kelas I sampai kelas V, tetapi kelas satunya schoecle school, sama dengan kelas tiga sekolah umum rakyat Jawa biasa. Jadi kalu kelas dua dari sekolah umum harusnya masuk kelas tiga, tetapi kalau melanjutkan ke schocle school masuk kelas satu. Pada saat itu sekolah sudah memiliki 5 (lima) lokal, rata rata murid per kelas 30 anak. Anak yang bisa masuk ke Schocle School hanya anak anak pejabat, paling tidak anak lurah. Karena uang sekolah tiap bulannya Rp.25,-(kalau jual kelapa 1000 butir). Sedangkan beras 1 kg harganya hanya 6 sen. Jadi kalau bukan anak orang mampu/pejabat tidak dapat menyekolahkan di Schocle School. Gedung/dindingnya masih gedek dari bambu Guru gurunyapun dari luar daerah semua. Gajinya perbulan dapat untuk membeli sawah 1 pekulen/0,5 ha. Guru yang mengajar sekolah umum (sekolah ongko 2) adalah tamatan dari Normal school(SGB), kalau guru Schoecle School lulusan HIK (SGA). Pelajaran yang diberikan adalah sampai wilayah negara Belanda (misal pelajaran IPS) itupun sampai mendetail. Contoh hal hal yang kecil misal selokan selokan, sampai tempat-tempat yang kecil di negara Belanda diajarkan di sini. Setelah Jepang masuk Indonesia, sekolah Schocle School diubah namamya menjadi Sekolah Sempurna II dan sampai sekarang namanya dinamakan SD Wates II. Sedang lokasi sekolah adalah seluruh pekarangan yang ditempati sekarang. Batas sebelah timur adalah jalan, batas sebelah barat jalan, batas sebelah utara jalan dan sebelah selatan adalah SMP N I Wates.

SD Wates II was established on February 1, 1931. It was still in the Dutch colonial government. Originally it was called Schoecle School or Elementary School now. Schoecle School means a Javanese school that speaks Dutch. Schoecle school starts from class I to grade V, but the other class schoecle school, the same as the third grade ordinary Javanese public school. So if the second grade of public school should be in the third grade, if you go to Schocle school you will enter first grade. At that time the school already had 5 (five) local people, on average students per class 30 children. Children who can enter Schocle School are only children of officials, at least the lurah's children. Because the monthly tuition is Rp. 25, - (if you sell coconut, 1,000 items). While 1 kg of rice costs only 6 cents. So if not children, capable people / officials cannot go to school at Schocle School. The building / wall is still gedek from bamboo. Desert teachers are from outside the area. The monthly salary can be used to buy 1 pekulen rice field / 0.5 ha. Teachers who teach public schools (ongko 2 schools) are Normal School graduates (SGB), if Schoecle School teachers are HIK (SGA) graduates. The lesson given is up to the territory of the Netherlands (for example social studies lessons) and even then until detailed. Examples of small things such as sewer ditches, until small places in the Netherlands are taught here. After Japan entered Indonesia, the Schocle School changed its name to Perfect School II and until now its name was named SD Wates II. While the school location is the entire yard that is occupied now. The eastern boundary is the road, the west side of the road, the north side of the road and the south side is SMP N I Wates.
