Very cozy family place. The food was outstanding readily prepared with natural products. Natural juice and delicious balinese coffee. If you visit Taman Sari you must stop here.

known as Taman Sari too, i visited taman sari in 2017, its recommended for a historical vacation site, i only paid about 2500 rupiahs for one ticket, i think. there s a toilets here, food stalls inside, and i suggest you to visit Taman sari between 8-10am.

I called this place as a literally homey cafe.. as a stop after sunny walking in Jogja, you can enjoy some unique foods, cold beer, fresh juice, and friendly artistic owner.. enjoy the moment here and listen the owner play accoustic guitar..

Water Castle Cafe is the perfect hole-in-the-wall cafe if you’re looking for delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere. The cafe is situated on the edge of a maze of local houses, so it’s the perfect place to be if you want to explore after enjoying a meal. The cafe seats around 12 so it’s not overly crowded. The prices are mid ranged but the food is most certainly worth it. I had the Mie Kuah Vegetables while my partner had the Nasi Campur. Mie Kuah comprised of: broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, star fruit, noodles and onion swimming in a fragrant vegetable broth. It packed tonnes of flavour and little spice. Nasi Campur contained similar vegetables but was quite spicy - be warned if you can’t handle your heat.

What a really nice place to have a drink and something to eat. One of the nicest places I've been to recently. It's a bit quirky but you really feel at home. Unbelievable toilets, it's a piece of art work ?

Randomly found this place while wandering around Taman Sari - and I'm very glad I did. The selection isn't overly big but I loved what I tried. The special nasi with fruit was delicious, a mix of sweet and spicy. The sultan tea was also great. There's also a selection of fruit juices, lassis, and hot drinks. An excellent place to relax and take a break from walking. The owner was very kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed the ambience. It was calm and cool but right off the back alley so it was a little lively as well. A real neighborhood feel to it. I'd definitely come back again!

Authentic Artsy Restaurant I've never given a 5 star review before, but this place deserves it. The food is authentic and inexpensive. The restaurant is a family run business and the ambiance is so peaceful. Art on every wall, from the "Alice in wonderland" experience when you step in the bathroom (you really need to experience it to know what I'm talking about) to the beautifully presented food. One of my favourite memories of the trip!
