It has so many choices of dishes on the list, even you can customize your own dish based on your preferences. Just let them know what you want, then they will cook the dishes with a Chinese touch that blend so well with local taste.
First visit, we ordered capcay goreng, kerang asam manis, tahu krispi, ca kangkung, rica ayam, and rica tahu tempe (these two were a customized dish). We were a group of six and we paid only 80k, including white rice and drinks! So cheap, and yummy too! Although you can not find the prices on the menu list, but it is truly cheap.
Next time we ordered a customized dish also which was broccoli krispi and tasted so good. Our favorite was capcay, broccoli krispi, and kerang asam manis so far.
The place is quite simple. The kitchen is placed in front and the sitting is behind it. You may sit on the floor (lesehan) or on the chair. There are two cooks and two servers who run this eatery. Location is not in the main road but always crowded with people. Many university students get their dinner here because it is near to Indonesian Institute of Arts. So be sure to come just after they open - around 5 or 5.30 to avoid queuing. Later after 6, you will need to be patient enough to wait for your order.
Will definitely recommend this place for ones who like cheap but great food. This is a must try.
