MENU SEDERHANA: Nasi Kasreng awalnya kreasi sederhana Bu Kasrih di terminal Luragung, nasi panas dengan gorengan hangat, sambal terasi super pedas, lalapan toge dan taburan rebon (udang kecil). mohamad taufik/radarcirebon.comKUNINGAN – Satu lagi makanan khas Kuningan yang patut dicoba bagi para pemburu kuliner nusantara, yaitu Nasi Kasreng. Sajian kuliner khas Kuningan yang sepintas terlihat sederhana ini, ternyata sangat disukai oleh berbagai kalangan tidak hanya kalangan bawah, namun juga oleh para pejabat bahkan pernah menjadi menu makan malam presiden saat kunjungannya ke Kuningan. Nasi Kasreng awalnya hanyalah menu sarapan para sopir angkutan, kernet, kuli serta para pedagang di Pasar Luragung yang lauknya pun hanya gorengan dan sambal terasi super pedas untuk menyegarkan mata yang baru melek. Sesuai namanya, Nasi Kasreng diambil dari nama penjual nasi tersebut yang bernama Kasrih dengan gorengan panas khasnya. “Yang pertama berjualan Nasi Kasreng adalah Bu Kasrih di Terminal Luragung puluhan tahun yang lalu. Nama Kasreng pun konon diambil dari gabungan nama Kasrih dan gorengan jadilah Kasreng. Kini beliau masih ada namun sudah tidak berjualan karena sudah sepuh,” ungkap Aat, pedagang Nasi Kasreng di Desa Kiaradomba, Luragung. Konon, kesuksesan Bu Kasrih berjualan Nasi Kasreng di zamannya membuat warungnya selalu ramai pembeli. Hal ini pula yang akhirnya membuat sejumlah orang menjadikan peluang usaha di bidang yang sama hingga keberadaan nasi Kasreng kini menjamur tak hanya di wilayah Luragung namun juga di wilayah Kuningan kota. Meski demikian, menjamurnya warung Nasi Kasreng tidak menghilangkan ciri khasnya yaitu gorengan panas, sambal terasi super pedas, lalapan toge dan taburan rebon (udang kecil). Kombinasi empat macam menu dengan nasi yang dipincuk kertas tersebut akan selalu ada di setiap warung Kasreng mendampingi aneka menu masakan lain sebagai variasi. Keberadaan warung nasi Kasreng, banyak dijumpai terutama di pinggir ruas Jalan Luragung-Cibingbin atau sekitar 18 Km sebelah timur dari Kuningan kota. Untuk menarik pelanggan, keberadaan warung-warung kasreng dibuat sedemikian rupa sehingga nyaman untuk dikunjungi. Hamparan sawah yang hijau dan udara yang masih sejuk semakin menjadikan kenikmatan tersendiri untuk menikmati hidangan Nasi Kasreng. Menunya yang disajikan pun bermacam-macam mulai dari pepes ati ampela, tumis jamur, sayur lodeh hingga sop buntut tersedia sesuai selera pelanggan tanpa meninggalkan empat menu utama tadi. Menu-menu tersebut tersaji di atas meja terbuka agar para pelanggan bisa mengambil dan menambah sesuka mereka. Pembelinya pun kini tak lagi hanya para kuli panggul, pedagang pasar dan sopir angkot, namun dari berbagai kalangan mulai dari petani, karyawan swasta, pengusaha hingga para pejabat pemerintahan. Mereka kerap menjadikan Nasi Kasreng sebagai menu makan siang di saat jam istirahat atau sengaja untukk dinikmati bersama keluarga saat libur. Meski peminat Nasi Kasreng ini telah meningkat, namun tak menjadikan harganya menjadi mahal. Setiap menu dipatok harga berkisar antara Rp 3.000 hingga Rp 10.000 saja tergantung jenisnya, dan untuk satu potong gorengan panas masih Rp 500 saja sedangkan sambal, lalapan toge serta rebon digratiskan saja sebagai bonus. Kelezatan dan kesederhanaan Nasi Kasreng kini telah dikenal luas oleh masyarakat dan menjadi ikon kuliner kebanggan warga Kuningan. Sampai-sampai, hidangan tersebut kerap menjadi santapan utama pada acara-acara syukuran, kedinasan termasuk menjadi menuh hotel saat menjamu Presiden SBY ke kuningan beberapa waktu lalu. Padahal, Nasi Kasreng awalnya hanyalah kreasi sederhana Bu Kasrih sebagai sumber kehidupannya menjual menu sarapan bagi para penghuni terminal Luragung. Meski sang pencetus Nasi Kasreng tersebut kini sudah tak berjualan karena faktor usia, namun namanya abadi melekat sebagai kuliner kebanggan masyarakat Kuningan. (taufik)
