★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A traditional restaurant, with artistic decorations. Serving authentic Javanesse cuisine, mainly 3 dishes :
1. Nasi Gandul (Gandul Rice)
Thick and spice-full ( but not hot, chillies are served separately) beef brooth soup served on top of steamed white rice.
The rich flavor brings great taste and mouthfull taste experience. Easy food, could be accepted by almost every tongue. Warm and heart-warming.
2. Garang Asem
Chicken cut ( with bones), cooked for hours with coconut milk, tomatoes, and chillies. A bit creamy, sour, and spicy taste. Medium hot. Eaten with steamed white rice, this could brings an unforgettable experience of legendary Middle Java cuisine.
3. Nasi Goreng Jawa ( Javanesse Fried Rice )
An ordinary fried rice with extra ordinary taste. The rich taste and aroma are mainly due to how the herbs and spices are freshly prepared by order. Cut and hand grinded only when ordered, this method brings the maximum taste and aroma to the fried rice. It will take some extra time for this simple dish, but it will be worth it.
